Wine snob? Who, moi?
We tried the Charles Shaw merlot this weekend. I hate to say it but, worship Trader Joe's though we do, the buzz didn't make it taste any better. Charles Shaw tastes like what it is: a two dollar bottle of wine. I've got eleven more if you want one.
Big spenders might want to check out the stuff from Black Opal. The Shiraz is excellent. It goes for about eight dollars.
