A lot of my free time in the last several days was given over to the soul draining task of configuring server machines. (Have you hugged your sysadmin today?) I think we’re just about out of the woods. We’re going with a company called iland. Their prices are good, their ping times are reasonably fast, and their “Boston” facility is a few short blocks from MIT. I met their systems engineer, a friendly fellow named Matthew, at the facility this morning to drop of the machines. Piece of cake.
