The first “Getting Started with Weblogs” class will be held at MIT tomorrow afternoon at 2:30pm. The class will present a simple definition of what a weblog is, illustrate basic weblogging ideas through numerous examples, make the case for writing a weblog, walk you through the process of writing your first weblog post, and demonstrate how to read weblogs in an aggregator. Here is my working outline. The class is a repeating event (four total during the month of January), is free, and will be held in E52-010, also known as The Trading Room (map). It’s a fantastic room — LCD projector at the front, a PC for every student. See you there!
