I have a problem with these t-shirts. The comma usage is off. I think it’s either gotta be “Vice President Dick Cheney”, with no comma, or “Dick Cheney, Vice President”, with a comma preceding the title. Am I right or am I right?

  1. Associated Press style is to upper case titles before the name, or use lower case, set off by commas, after the name. The only time there would be a comma between title and name would be in a sentence like this (no caps):

“Some people were offended to hear such language coming from the vice president, Dick Cheney.”
