I voted this morning before coming to work. Except for waiting in line, which took about a half hour, everything went smoothly. When I got to the front of the line, an election official located my name on the list of registered voters and checked it off. A second person handed me a ballot. I walked across the room to an empty voting station, one of twelve, and used a felt tip marker to connect a broken arrow next to the names of the candidates of choice. I then inserted the ballot into an envelope and walked to another station, where my name was located and checked off again. Finally, I slid the ballot from its envelope into an electronic ballot reader.
